As Arqana comes to a close and marks another successful year for Avenue Bloodstock we would like to thank all of our clients for their continued support.  We purchased some very exciting mares at Tattersalls December Sale and at the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale.

At Arqana we purchased a gorgeous daughter of Frankel that is in foal to Champion sire Siyouni. She is out of the Listed winner ASCOT FAMILY and from the family of G1 winners LETHAL FORCE, G FORCE, FLOTILLA, etc.  An attractive young mare with a lot of potential as a broodmare.  She was purchased for €460,000.

We purchased some fantastic broodmares at Tattersalls’ December Sale headlined by D’oro Diva, purchased for 175,000 gns from Juddmonte.  A two-time winner at two in France, she is out of Listed winner DARING DIVA and is a half-sister to G2 winner BROOCH and Listed winner, G2-placed CAPONATA and from the family of G1 winner EMULOUS.

Also from the Juddmonte consignment was Lot 2115, Frisella.  A winner at three, her second dam is G1 winner/producer ZENDA, dam of Champion racehorse and super sire KINGMAN.  She is from the family of Champions OASIS DREAM and WEYMYSS BIGHT and G1 winners BEAT HOLLOW and NEW BAY.

From the Godolphin consignment we acquired multiple Listed winner, ETIVE, who is in foal to leading first season sire, Night of Thunder.  Her first two dams were both G1 fillies and she is a half-sister to G3 winner, G2-placed FALLS OF LORA and Listed winner, G1-placed LATHARNACH.

Ha’Penny Bridge, a daughter of Tamayuz, was purchased for 70,000 gns.  She is from a tough female family including Champion GOLDEN OPINION and multiple G1 winner ALICE SPRINGS.

Lot 1558, JIRA, was a Listed winner and is in foal to the ultra-tough Kodiac.  Her second dam is Champion TIME CHARTER and she is from the family of G1-winning two-year-old CURSORY GLANCE.

The last filly purchased at Tattersalls was Lot 2103, Hindaam.  A tw0-time winner, she is out of a full-sister to Champion SAKHEE from the family of Champions MASTERCRAFTSMAN and CELESTIAL STORM.

We look forward to following the progress of all of these fillies and mares and hope that they are very lucky for their new connections.
