Breeze-Up Beauties

After an interrupted start to the 2020 Breeze-Up Sales due to Covid-19, we were delighted to secure two very nice individuals for our clients.

Lot 137 from the Craven Breeze-Up catalogue, a beautifully-bred colt by Derby winner, Australia.  A full brother to the incredibly exciting PATRICK SARSFIELD, recent five-length winner of a hot handicap at Leopardstown for trainer Joseph O’Brien.  He is from a family steeped in Black Type, including Group winners GOATHEMALA, GLOBAL DREAM and GLOBAL THRILL, to name but a few.  He has been purchased for an existing client for 135,000 guineas and will be sent to Classic-winning trainer, Hugo Palmer.

Lot 13 from the Tatts Ireland Ascot Breeze-Up, a smashing colt by the red-hot, first-season sire, Prince of Lir (sire of Norfolk Stakes (G2) winner, THE LIR JET).  He is out of the Listed-placed winner Harvest Joy and from the family of G1-winner LAPIERRE and G1 horses SUPER BOBBINA, REFUSE TO BOBBIN, SHAMBO and Lucky Hunter (runner-up in the Middle Park (G1)).  He is also eligible for the €200,000 Ballyhane Stakes to be run at Naas Racecourse in August.  He will be joining the string of Newmarket-based, first-season trainer Joseph Parr.

Two very exciting prospects that we look forward to seeing in the winners’ enclosure in the near future.
