Deauville Double

Avenue Bloodstock are off the mark at the 2019 yearling sales purchasing two top-class yearlings from the recent Arqana August Yearling Sale in Deauville.

Lot 204, an athletic, flashy individual by Starspangledbanner was purchased for €57,000 and will go into training with Classic-winning trainer, Hugo Palmer.  This cracking individual is out of a winning half-sister to G3-placed What Style and is from the family of G1 winners SHOLOKHOV, INTENSE FOCUS and SKITTER SCATTER.  Hugo has had a lot of success with progeny of Starspangledbanner including Criterion Stakes (G3) winner HOME OF THE BRAVE.

Lot 297, a good-looking son of Iffraaj was purchased for €195,000 and will go into training with Lambourn-based trainer, Jamie Osborne.  This colt is out of a winning half-sister to G2 winner THE BLACK PRINCESS and is from the Classic-winning family of LATICE and LAWMAN.
