Dream Today Gives Good Cause To Dream Ahead

Dream Today landed the six-furlong, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi World Class Healthcare Cup at Meydan on Thursday.  A shrewd purchase by Avenue Bloodstock for 90,000 guineas on behalf of Jamie Osborne at the 2018 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, he was having his first start for his new connections, Melbourne 10 Racing.  Sent off at 16/1, this son of Dream Ahead tracked the leaders before taking command in the closing stages and running on well to land this valuable handicap by a short head.  Following the race, trainer Jamie Osborne said, “Freddie De Giles will continue to oversee his preparation for his likely next race, the 95+ 6f handicap on Feb 7th. I always try hard to be a realist but I can’t help dreaming that this horse could just progress into a top class sprinter through the next few weeks.”

Congratulations to the members of the Melbourne 10 Racing syndicate, Jamie Osborne and all of his team.
