Finding Gold at the Breeze-Up Sales
As the breeze-up sales are drawing to a close, we were lucky to find two more exceptional individuals for clients.
Lot 44 from the Tatts Ireland Goresbridge Sale. A standout colt by the super-hot, first-season sire, GALILEO GOLD. Bought for £82,ooo from Tally-Ho Stud, who have a propensity to produce top-class runners. Galileo Gold is off to a great start with his first crop with Stakes winner EBRO RIVER landing the Listed National Stakes at Sandown and OSCULA winning a competitive conditions race at Epsom on Oaks day. This handsome colt is out of Kuala Queen, an own sister to G3 winner BEAR CHEEK, from the family of G2 winner ASPECTOFLOVE.
Mark said, “This is a lovely horse, we really liked his breeze, he showed a good attitude and temperament and he comes from a great nursery in Tally-Ho, he was recommended by Roger O’Callaghan.”
This colt will go into training with Hugo Palmer, who trained his sire to win the 2000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes among his other multiple wins.

From the Tatts Guineas Breeze-Up Sale, Lot 88 was purchased for 32,000 guineas with Jack Cantillon for Syndicates Racing. She is gorgeous filly with an enviable pedigree by dual Classic winner Camelot out of the G2-placed winner Kotsi. She is from the family of Champions HARBOUR LAW, INCHMURRIN and POET’S WORD and G1 winner MISS KELLER (a particular favourite). She was Mark’s pick of the sale and shares in her have nearly sold out already. She will go into training with the brilliant Henry de Bromhead.
We wish the new connections of these two juveniles the best of luck and look forward to watching them progress on the racecourse.
