Finding Value at Tattersalls Ireland

Avenue Bloodstock continued with a busy sales’ schedule at the recent Tattersalls Ireland Sale picking up an additional six yearlings.  While Covid has posed a lot of problems for the industry this year, it is a great time to find value at the sales.

Lot 9, a racey son of Camacho, this colt is out of G3wG2p ACAGO and is a half-brother to G3 winner XENOBIA.  He is from the family of G1 winners DARE AND GO, GO DEPUTY, etc.  He was purchased for £10,500.

Lot 33, a gorgeous filly by Australia out of the LwG3p mare ARTWORK GENIE, from the family of Champion and multiple G1 winner INDIAN LODGE.  She was purchased for £20,000.

Lot 87,  an attractive colt by Belardo, he is the first foal out of Choc u Zeldas Nell, from the family of multiple G1 winner STORMING HOME.  He was purchased for £7,000.

Lot 143, by first season sire phenomenon MEHMAS!  This filly is out of an own sister to G2wG1p KOOL KOMPANY.  She was purchased for £17,000 and will head to the breeze-up sales next spring.

Lot 386 is from the first crop of G1 winner ACLAIM.  This good-looking colt is out of the winning Golden Snake mare SNAKE’S HEAD, she has already produced three winners including Listed-placed winner Straxton.  He was purchased for £33,000 and is heading into training in Ireland on The Curragh.

Last but certainly not least is Lot 392, from the first crop of Classic winner GALILEO GOLD, this lovely colt if the first foal out of Spirited Charm from the family of G1 winners NIGHTTIME, GHAIYYATH, ZHUKOVA, etc.  He was purchased for £20,000.
