Going for Gold at Goffs

Great to be back at Goffs and delighted to purchase six top-class yearlings during the Orby Sale.

Lot 72, a handsome colt by Australia, from the family of Classic-winning millionaire, SEVENTH HEAVEN and multiple G1 winner SOUTHJET.  He is the third foal out of winning Discreetly Mine mare Imalwayshotforyou.  He was purchased for €40,000.

Lot 107, from the first northern hemisphere crop of international super sire Zoustar, this lovely colt is from the family of Meon Valley matriarch Reprocolor.  His page lists no fewer than four Champions including ZEE ZEE TOP, IZZI TOP, OPERA HOUSE and KAYF TARA.  He was purchased for €90,000.

Lot 166, by first-season sensation Galileo Gold, sire of Phoenix S (G1) hero EBRO RIVER.  This gorgeous filly is a half-sister to LwG3p JUSTIFIER.  Her second dam is G1 winner/producer CHELSEA ROSE (dam of Champion KEW GARDENS, G3wG1p THAWAANY, G3wG2p SNOW, etc.). She was purchased for €52,000 and will head to Classic-winning trainer Hugo Palmer.  This filly is for sale, please contact Hugo’s office for further details.

Lot 211, attractive colt by G1 sire, Dandy Man, from the family of Champion SULK and G1 winners DANK and EAGLE MOUNTAIN.  This athletic colt was purchased for €64,000.

Lot 340, a strapping colt by Zoustar, this fellow has a strong page to match his good looks.  A half-brother to G3 winner ALEXIOS KOMNENOS, his second dam is G1 winner APTOSTAR, from the family of Champion PRINCESS HIGHWAY, G1w ROYAL DIAMOND, G2wG1p IRRESISTIBLE JEWEL, G3wG1p MAD ABOUT YOU and  PROFOUND BEAUTY.  He was purchased for €140,000.

Lot 357, by multiple G1 sire Night of Thunder, this big-walking colt is from the family of Champion GALILEO CHROME, G1 winners CORONET and AUSSIE RULES, G2wG1p MIDAS TOUCH and LwG1p MICHELANGELO.  His dam has produced four winners from five runners.  He was purchased for €120,000.
