LA PETITE COCO confirmed the potential she showed on her last outing at Naas for her previous trainer, Andrew Kinirons, when winning the one mile Fillies’ Median Auction at Killarney for her new connections.  Sent off the 11/8 favourite, she took the lead at the midway point and never looked back pulling clear from a talented field by over four lengths.

Following the race, new trainer, Paddy Twomey said, ” It was LA PETITE COCO’s first run for us so I’m thrilled!  Team Valor are very good supporters of mine and it was great to train another winner for them.  She looked impressive at Naas and has confirmed that it was accurate here today.  I thought we’d see how today went and then make a plan – her owners are ambitious.”

The daughter of Ruler of the World is from a strong German family including Champion two-year-old colt LANGTANG and Classic winner LAVIRCO.  She was a private purchase, bought bought in collaboration with Barry Irwin and Shawn Drysdale.  We look forward to seeing her on the track again soon and wish her new connections the best of luck with her.
