Lightning Lou Heads to US

LIGHTNING LOU has been purchased privately on behalf of Medallion Racing and Partners to head to Mike Maker the States.  Trained by Rod Millman, LIGHTNING LOU won impressively in a one mile Fillies’ Maiden at Lingfield in February.  Showing promise in her first two starts she was second to John Gosden-trained KESTENNA (rated 99 and holds an entry in the 1000 Guineas) and BINT AL ANOOD.

A beautifully-bred filly by Brazen Beau, her dam is a half-sister to Champion, multiple G1 winner SKY LANTERN as well as G3 winners SHANTY STAR and ARCTIC.  Her third dam, NEGLIGENT was Champion two-year-old filly in England.

We hope she is very lucky for her new connections stateside.
