Mise Le Meas dominates at Gowran Park
After finishing an impressive third on her debut last month at the Curragh (behind sisters to Alpha Centauri and Minding), MISE LE MEAS did not disappoint landing the 7f Fillies’ Maiden at Gowran Park by a comfortable one-and-three-quarter lengths.
Sent off the 9/4 favourite, she tracked the leaders before making headway two furlongs out to take the lead a furlong from home and cruising across the wire.
Trainer Johnny Murtagh said of the talented filly, “The Debutante Stakes is next, that looks like a good race for her. We think she’s a stakes filly and the new syndicate would be keen to go to America at the end of the year.”
MISE LE MEAS (2019 f by New Bay out of Mise) was purchased privately by Medallion Racing and Avenue Bloodstock.
Congratulations to her connections, owners Syndicates Racing and Medallion Racing 2020, her trainer Johnny Murtagh and jockey Ben Coen.
