Neptune Legend Is Out Of This World

NEPTUNE LEGEND showed a plethora of ability making all to land a competitive 7f Nursery in Newmarket on Saturday. Sent to the front from the outset, he responded well to pressure heading up the hill to hold off 11/8 favourite Fall of Rome at the wire.
An Avenue Bloodstock purchase from The 2020 Goff’s Orby Sale. He is by the legendary Invincible Spirit, out of juvenile winner Kate the Great and a half-brother to G3wG1p EASTERN IMPACT and LwG3p MISS KATIE MAE. He is from the family of Champion DEEP IMPACT and G1w WIND IN HER HAIR and was bred by top-class nursery Airlie Stud.
Following the race, jockey Oisin Murphy said, “NEPTUNE LEGEND was very happy out in front. Hopefully he can build on it as he’s definitely grown since earlier in the year. He was in control and he’s a lovely type, which bodes well for later in his career. ”
Congratulations to trainer Hugo Palmer and owner Mr. Boniface Ho Ka Kui, a leading owner in Hong Kong and Australia and owner of Everest winner, CLASSIQUE LEGNED.
