It has been a busy couple of weeks for Avenue Bloodstock purchases.

ALMADRINA (2018 f by Australia out of Queens Park) went wire-to-wire in the one mile handicap at Brighton for trainer George Boughey and owner Ed Tynan.  Purchased for 33,000 guineas from Tattersalls October Book Three.

STRAWBERRY ROCK (2017 g by Rock of Gibraltar out of Strawberry Vodka)  kept on well to win on his four-year-old debut at Windsor.  A winner at two, three and four and now rated 91, he was a 13,500 guinea purchase from the Tattersalls December Sale.  Congratulations to his connections, trainer Hugo Palmer and owners the FOMO syndicate.

HADMAN (2019 c by Starspangledbanner out of Anneli) won two on the bounce and followed that up with a strong performance to finish third in the Group 3 Anglesey Stakes at The Curragh.  He is a promising colt and holds some big entries for his autumn campaign including the Phoenix S (G1) and the National S (G1). He was purchased from the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale for £55,000.  Congratulations to trainer Joseph O’Brien and owner Mohamed Abdulrahman.

STORM LEGEND (2018 c by Night of Thunder out of Kymera) showed a lot of grit and determination to land the 7f race at Naas.  A smart colt trained by Fozzy Stack, he is now being aimed at the Group 3 Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes at Goodwood later this month.  He will then head to Hong Kong for leading owner Bon Ho to continue his career there.  He was a £160,000 purchase from the Tatts Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale.

GLOBAL WISDOM (2019 g by No Nay Never out of Shahinda) won impressively on debut for trainer Chris Dwyer.  After a slow start, the penny quickly dropped and he made good progress before taking the lead in the last 100 yards and pulling clear of the field to win by one-and-a-quarter lengths.  Owned by Dr Johnny Hon he was purchased privately after the Arqana Deauville Yearling Sale for €80,000.

SNOWALOT (2017 g by Camelot out of Bright Snow) was sent off the 11/5 favourite at Salisbury and did not disappoint.  He travelled strongly throughout the race before drawing clear to win by over four lengths.  A private purchase with Irish form analyst Philip Hackett.  Congratulations to owner K K Ho and trainer James Ferguson.

Congratulations to all of the winning connections.  We are looking forward to the upcoming yearling sales.  Please get in touch if we can be of any help.
