HIGH BRIDGE capped off a phenomenal weekend for Avenue Bloodstock in Australia after winning the valuable Victorian Owner Gold Card Handicap at Flemington.  Settled in the rear of the field HIGH BRIDGE showed an impressive turn of foot in the closing stages to cruise to victory by two lengths.  Avenue Bloodstock brokered the deal OTI Racing and Chris Waller for the purchase of this ultra-consistent gelding.

Another exciting performer was BIRTH OF VENUS, winning the the A$125,000 Bookmaker Recognition Day at Rosehill by a comfortable margin.  A private purchase, this exciting filly is now being aimed at bigger things with a Stakes race on the cards for her next start.  Owned by Cstn Bloodstock(Mgr: C J Waller), M A C Buckley, Ms C McStay, Falcon Breeding (Mgr: R E B Mews), Mrs L Shanahan, J P Ferguson & Mrs E Magnier.

Last but certainly not least NIGHT OF POWER, went wire-to-wire in just his second start for trainer Bjorn Baker to land the A$80,000 Kia Evening Star at Canterbury.  A deal brokered by Avenue Bloodstock and James Clarke Bloodstock in Australia.  This horse was recommended by previous trainer John Oxx.  He’s an exciting prospect for new owners, jorn Baker Racing (Mgr: B Baker), Mrs A Delic, C Tognolini, Dr T P Clarke, S S Saad, R G Price, D S Robbins, R N Woods, R S Canceri, Mrs J A Canceri, B L Parker, M H Wood, M Fitzgerald, Mrs J E Bregenhoj, D Healey, H M Kelly, K R Ferrel, P T Doyle & D S Berridge.
