Virtual Illusion

With the Tattersalls’ February Sale forced to go totally online this year it provided some great opportunities for investors. While we are all looking forward to getting back onto the sales’ grounds and the traditional, in-person auctions, Covid has created an opportunity to present professional videos and photos to international buyers and give them more input into their purchases.
Avenue Bloodstock was delighted to secure the top lot of the Sale, Lot 194, for 120,000 guineas. BEAUTIFUL ILLUSION is a gorgeous Shamardal filly out of the classy G3wG2p LONG LASHES, from the family of G1 winner COMBATANT. Purchased from the Godolphin consignment, the filly won two races in 2020 for her previous connections.
Lot 192, LITTLE KITTEN, was also purchased from the Godolphin consignment. A strapping Sea The Stars filly out of G2wG1p MICHITA, she was purchased for 30,000 guineas. A winner at two on her debut in 2020, her first three dams are all Group/Graded Stakes winners including NASTIQUE, multiple G1 winner in the States. She was purchased for a new partnership and will be heading to Australia as a broodmare prospect.
