The former bloodstock manager to Godolphin, Mark spent 15 years working for Sheikh Mohammed mainly based at the organisation’s global headquarters in Newmarket with stints in both the Hunter Valley in Australia and Lexington, Kentucky. His role at Godolphin was extensive, involving public and private purchases as well as racehorse, stallion and broodmare management. In 2017Mark founded Avenue Bloodstock in 2017; his knowledge of pedigrees, conformation and the global market is invaluable

Dick has over 50 years of experience in the bloodstock industry, he worked for Newmarket Bloodstock Agency in 1970 and was responsible for many top purchases including Dual Oaks winner Fair Salinia and Champion Two-Year-Old Manado. In 1980 Dick formed Richard O’Gorman Bloodstock purchasing G1 winners Reel Buddy and Superpower. He also worked closely with Mark McStay for many years, while working as a consultant for Godolphin. During his time In that role he advised on many successful purchases, none more so than Derby winner New Approach. Other notable purchases included Classic winners Island Sands and Rule Of Law, as well as G1 winners Ghaiyyath, Hawkbill, Vale Of York, Goodricke and Passion For Gold. Dick provides years of experience with excellent results. Dick acts as a consult for Avenue Bloodstock at public auction specifically assisting with the purchase of yearlings and two year olds.
